Join the Tinker Sparks Team

We are looking for passionate, energetic educators and STEM enthusiasts to join our summer camp team in the Austin area. If you love working with kids and have a background in robotics, coding, AI, science, chess, or education, we would love to hear from you.

Current Openings - Paid Part-Time Positions

We are hiring across Leander, Lake Travis, Liberty Hill, the greater Austin area, and Georgetown. Weekday and weekend options are available.

Instructors

Teach LEGO Robotics, Coding, STEM, and Strategy games including Minecraft, Pokemon, and Chess to students ages 5 to 13.

Assistant Instructors

Support lead instructors in hands-on classroom activities and help keep students engaged throughout each session.

Marketing Interns

Help with social media, content creation, and local outreach as we grow our programs across the Austin area.

Sales Support Interns

Help grow enrollment and partnerships across the Austin area through outreach and relationship building.

What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly pay
  • Weekday and weekend availability, typically 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM for after-school sessions
  • Small class sizes - maximum 12 students per group
  • Ability to create lesson plans and structure curriculum
  • A fun, collaborative team environment
  • Opportunity to grow with us as we expand to new cities

Requirements

  • Passion for working with children ages 5 to 13
  • Background check required (we will arrange this)
  • Up-to-date immunization records required for all staff on site
  • Reliable transport to one of our locations: Leander, Lake Travis, Liberty Hill, Austin Area, or Georgetown
  • Available for at least one weekday or weekend session on a recurring basis
